Whistler Air
Whistler is accessed via Vancouver airport and then a 2 hour drive. Perimeters Whistler Express runs a frequent shuttle bus from Vancouver International Airport . Do pre book as the bus fills up quickly. Helijet run a helicopter service to Whistler.
Whistler Bus
Snowbus operates a daily scheduled public transportation service from Richmond , Vancouver and West Vancouver to Whistler. Greyhound also offers a service from Main Street Bus Station in Vancouver . Perimeter's Whistler Express to Whistler from Vancouver Airport also picks up at downtown Vancouver hotels if pre booked.
Whistler Car
From Vancouver cross over Lions Gate bridge to the North Shore exiting the bridge on the Marine Drive West turnoff and then turn onto Taylor Way and eventually reach Highway 1. Turn off at Exit 2 onto Highway 99 to Whistler. The drive along the “Sea to Sky Highway ” takes about two hours.
Secure parking is expensive at the hotels and resorts. Free parking is at Day Lot 4 which is a public car park on shingle that is completely unsecured. During heavy snowfalls in winter the car park does is ploughed and cars will be towed away to clear the snow.
